Technical Audit.
Validating our Zero-Log and Military-Grade Encryption claims through academic transparency.
Verified: RAM-Only Integrity
Our most recent internal audit confirms that 100% of the FreeVPN.edu.pl node network operates on volatile RAM storage. We have verified that the /var/log directories on all production nodes are mapped to tmpfs, ensuring that no data persists across reboots. This technical safeguard is the cornerstone of our no-log policy and was verified by our volunteer security collective in Poznań.
Cryptographic Standards Audit
We have audited our implementation of the WireGuard® protocol to ensure zero compromise on encryption strength. Our nodes exclusively use Curve25519 for key exchange, ChaCha20 for symmetric encryption, and Poly1305 for message authentication. This combination provides the highest security-to-speed ratio available in modern cryptography, far exceeding the requirements for standard academic research.
Warrant Canary & Transparency Reports
A critical part of our audit process is the maintenance of our Warrant Canary. As of February 2026, FreeVPN.edu.pl has received zero (0) national security letters, zero (0) gag orders, and zero (0) warrants for user data. Because of our "Blind Auth" system, even if a warrant were received, our audit confirms that we possess no identifiable data to provide.
Our transparency reports are published quarterly and include network performance metrics, node health audits, and EU grant utilization summaries. This institutional level of accountability ensures that our "Free VPN" service remains the most trusted tool for the academic community.
This audit was performed by the volunteer security lead at FreeVPN.edu.pl. For detailed technical inquiries or to participate in our next community audit, please contact our Poznań office.
